" Why I Teach: Supporting Marginalized Students, Creating Equity, and Inspiring Hope for a Better World" As an educator, I often find myself reflecting on why I teach. Every day, I interact with students who come from a variety of backgrounds and experiences, and each one presents unique challenges and opportunities for growth. Despite the challenges, I continue to teach because I believe in the transformative power of education and the impact it can have on individual lives and society as a whole. One of the most important reasons I teach is to support marginalized students. In my classroom, I strive to create a safe and inclusive environment where all students feel valued and heard. This includes using inclusive language and incorporating diverse perspectives and experiences into my lessons.
